It’s a slogan we take to heart when it comes to safety. The people closest to the work are in the best position to identify hazards and risks. When they spot something that doesn’t feel right, they know we expect them to bring work to a stop until they are comfortable there is no risk or it’s been addressed.
Their safety awareness is built and strengthened through in-house training, plus additional third-party courses and programs that can lead to accreditation from national safety-related organizations including OSHA and NCCCO.
We constantly remind our employees to keep safety first, and encourage them through our Safety Incentive Program that enables them to earn rewards for demonstrating their commitment to safety.
Safety isn’t the job of one or two safety representatives. Creating safer worksites is the job of every Canton Erector employee.
