History

For over 50 years, CEI Crane & Rigging has offered quality service and expertise. From the humble beginnings of Neil Selinsky’s first hydraulic crane, we’ve become the industry leader with the most modern equipment, operated by the most experienced and trained staff in the region:

1964

Started business with a 15 Ton Grove, the first hydraulic crane in Stark Co.

1967

Moved to 3035 21st St. SW into a 3,500 sq ft warehouse.

1970

Added 4,800 sq ft warehouse to existing building.

1985

Purchased FJ Egner property at 2009 Quimby Ave. SW which was across the street from original warehouse which added 6,000 sq ft of space.

1989

Purchased 50 Ton Link-Belt – Our first 2-man crane.

1993

Purchased 75 Ton Grove.

1995

Built new 4,000 sq ft office.

1997

Purchased 175 Ton Grove.

1998

Started working for the Timken Company.

2000

Purchased 110 Ton Liebherr.

2001

Built a Habitat for Humanity home in honor and memory of Michael Selinsky, our then president.

2002

Began relationship with Habitat for Humanity to provide free crane service on new homes. Over 170 homes so far.

Purchased the adjacent Fame Beverage property which added 36,000 sq ft of additional warehouse space.

2011

Began working in the Utica Shale oil fields – Acquired Chesapeake Master Service Agreement.

Purchased 240 Ton Grove.

2014

Purchased a 75 Ton MobileLift and a 75 Ton TwinLift to expand our rigging capabilities.

2023

Acquired Starrett Service
